I don't know if your on my space.com yet, but if not you should sign up it's free and simple. YOU get to pick and choose who you want to or not talk to for that matter. If you enjoy talking to them you can put them on you friends list. You get to design your own profile and everything. They do have IM too, although I don't know if it is back up yet. You can check out the people that you are talking to on their profiles and see pics. So that's what I would recommend. I'm on it although I'm taken. I just like to stay in contact with friends. But you should try it.

try and go to the rooms for your local area, but i will tell you this no matter where you go there will always be some guy trying to talk dirty to you i know that why i stopped going to the chat rooms and only chat from my messenger with my friends i know

myspace.com doesnt have chatrooms(yet) but they do have alot of groups with message boards and you get to socialize with over 75 million people
