my friend, whom i've only known a few months, but get along really well in that totally platonic way is just getting over Swine flu and i want to give them my Get-Well-Soon bear that i was given last year when i got very sick. I want to make the impression that i care but without overstepping it. Is this a lame gift? Should i even get anything anyways?

I THINK IT IS A GREAT IDEA! AND IT SHOWS YOU CARE.DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF,YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING GREAT FOR A FRIEND.I HAD A FRIEND THAT GAVE ME A BIG RABBIT WITH FLOPPY EARS AND A LONG PINK DRESS.SHE WAS CALLED A GET BETTER BUNNY.I APPRECIATED THE GIFT VERY MUCH AND PASSED HER ALONG TO A FRIEND OF MINE WHOSE LITTLE GRAND DAUGHTER HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY,WHEN SHE WAS JUST BORN.SO TO YOU I SAY GO FOR IT.IF MORE PEOPLE WERE LIKE YOU,THERE WOULD BE A LOT MORE LOVE IN THE WORLD BESIDES HATE!WAY TO GO,KEEP IT UP,AND GOD BLESS YOU!

No, that's not lame. She'd probably be really touched that you would give it to her :] If the bear was special to you, than it would be even more special to her because you cared enough to give it to her.

Hope your friend gets well soon :]

I think thats sweet, cause someone gave that to YOU when you were sick, and now you want to give it to her! So its not lame.

i think you should buy something new and inexpensive to give her. you should keep your bear and get her something like a balloon from the dollar store with a sweet get well soon card attached to it. hope i helped!

I would say something like "this little bear helped me get well, I want you to have it to help you, too."

I don't think it's lame, I think it's sweet...
