I have a friend. She overreacts to EVERYTHING and whinges and when she knocks her hand somewhere, even little, she's all like "ow ow"
How do I tell her to toughen up? And stop whinging?

You can't change other people, you can only change yourself.
She can go ahead and be a drama queen, it doesn't effect you any.
If you were to tell her to "Toughen up buttercup! I'm sick of hearing you complain about little things."
You'd probably sound more whiny than her.

Maybe you should say it in a joking way. I think things seem less harsh if you joke about them. If that doesn't work just ask her why she does it.
