Drink a lot of water.

The thing that keeps you constipated if you are is that your body extracts water form your stools in the large intestines ( the bowels) the last thing it does is extract the water. IF your body thinks it is dehydrated it willhold in your stools. If you drink a gallon of water in one day your bowels will move.

Anotehr thing you can do or if you have a wife or husband you can do the following.

Lay down nex tto each other and gently massage the large intestine it may tickle a little. gently massage the bowel o as toloosen anything that might be stuck to its sides. OFten this produces a bowel movement in a few moinutes. SOmetimes these can be rather smelly. It is possible you may loosen some putrid material that has been there for a long time. Rememeber the bowel goes up one side accross the top of your tourso and then down the other side. On the left side bend it is beleived ison e place where a lot of material gets stuck. They say that is where a lot of cancer comes from as a result of that putrid material sitting there for some times as mong as twenty years. If that is so then that is a place to keep clean by doing this messaging of the bowels with your spouse.

Another way to move your bowels is to take mega doses of Vitamin C. I maen eigth to ten grams and then take one gram each hour until you get loose bowels. YOu still need to drink large amounts of water.

If you find a lump or abstruction in there get checked by a doctor. Rememeber an osteopathic doctor as better training that a medical doctor and is more open to verious ways to heal you. So if you have osteopathic doctors in your area use them instead of a medical doctor is always my suggestion.

One way to prevent or ward off cancer is to eat millet every day. This will also help clean your colon ( bowels ) ( large intestine)

If you donot want to get diverticulosis when you are fifty then eat whole grains now every day. DO not eat white processed bread eat whole grains and whole wheat. The more grain berries and large pieces you have to break downa nd digest the better.

Also rememebr that form age 30 each ten years your body losses 10% of its digestive juices this causes all of the signs of aging in the body.

To prevent the appearance of aging make sure you used digestive enzymnes. If interested feel free to email me and I will tell you about htem seperately.

I have had this problem as most of us have from time to time. I have found a permanent solution. There is a new product called Benefiber. It is a tasteless white powder that dissolves instantly in anything moist. It doesn't do well in carbonated drinks. It kills the fizz. Men need at least 35 grams of fiber daily to maintain a normal function. You of course can have much more. Eating regular foods to get that much takes a lot of planning.Since I started this product 3 months ago I have had no problems at all. My son and his wife have had the same results. Getting enough fiber is very important in reducing cancer of the colon. I put it in eggs before I scramble them, salad dressings, tuna fish, meat loaf when I'm mixing it up or desserts.

First of all, you must know how constipation is caused . So the main causes of constipation are dehydration which means lack of water in food and lack of fiber. Firstly Water is necessary for our body cells and we must drink enough water daily. its quantity varies from body to another.you must take a bottle of water wiv you when going out. try to drink boiled water.

Secondly , Fiber is not digested by our stomach. fiber is present in fruits , potatoes and vegetables etc. you can eaily get rid of constipation if you eat an apple daily. As you have heard : An apple a day keeps the doctor away But if the doctor is handsome through the apple away. lolz. its just joke. but first part is like universal truth. So dont peel of apple before eating coz fiber is present in its covering . okay. eat carrots

Thirdly relax you body do exercise if you cant just take some walk at night. It ll be okay.

Try some Taco Bell. I've heard it works wonders lately.

Seriously, get some high fiber fruit or eat prunes or take a laxative and drink lots of water. Good luck.

Take a laxative, get an enema, or eat some high fiber foods. As an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, a diet with a sufficient amount of fiber is a good idea.

Drink plenty of pure water, eat a lot of apples, prunes, grapes, and oranges, and fast walk a couple of miles. If you don't get any movement by tonight, then try a laxative. If still no action by tomorrow morning, then you probably need to get a good enema!

Practice Yoga regularly and drink about half a gallon of water of warm water before you brush your teeth in the morning. I know it is very difficult to drink so much water. But start with a big glass full the first week and then next week try one and a half and so on till you reach half a gallon of warm water everyday. Good luck

Take 10,000 to 30,000 grams of vitamin C a day until you get over it. This will also help your immune system. And help your digestive tract get back to normal and replenish the good bacteria.

In people without medical problems, the main intervention is the increase of fluids (preferably water) and dietary fiber. The latter may be achieved by consuming more vegetables and fruit, whole meal bread and by adding linseeds to one's diet. The routine non-medical use of laxatives is to be discouraged as this may result in bowel action becoming dependent upon their use. Enemas can be used to provide a form of mechanical stimulation.

Laxatives may be necessary in people in whom dietary intervention is not effective or inappropriate. Stimulant laxatives (e.g. senna) are generally avoided, as they may worsen crampy sensations commonly experienced in constipation. In various conditions (such as the use of codeine or morphine), combinations of hydrating (e.g. lactulose or glycols), bulk-forming (e.g. psyllium) and stimulant agents may be necessary. Many of the products are widely available over-the-counter.

Enemas and clysters are a remedy occasionally used for hospitalized patients in whom the constipation has proven to be severe, dangerous in other ways, or resistant to laxatives. Sorbitol, glycerin and arachis oil suppositories can be used. Severe cases may require phosphate solutions introduced as enemas.

Constipation that resists all the above measures requires physical intervention. Manual disimpaction (the physical removal of impacted stool) is done under sedation or a general anesthetic—this avoids pain and loosens the anal sphincter.

In alternative and traditional medicine, colonic irrigation, enemas, exercise, diet and herbs are used to treat constipation.

Constipation is usually easier to prevent than to treat. The relief of constipation with osmotic agents, i.e. lactulose, Polyethyleneglycol(PEG), or magnesium salts, should immediately be followed with prevention using increased fiber(fruits and vegetables) and a nightly decreasing dose of osmotic laxative. With continuing narcotic use, for instance, nightly doses of osmotic agents can be given indefinitely (without harm) to cause a daily bowel movement.

Exercise is also often recommended.
