So i'm a senior in high school and i am taking tennis in my phys ed class. we have been playing single games and i keep playing the same guy cause we are pretty much the best players in the class. he seems really nice and i actually kinda like him :) we are now doing partner games and we got to choose our partners today. i kinda had a feeling he might ask me.

the only problem is that my friend is in my class and she has been expecting me to be her partner. if i told her i liked this guy and wanted to be partnes with him she would be hurt because we graduate next week and these are our last moments together. well not even i can see her anytime she lives like 10 minutes away from me.
anyhow he asked me to be my partner and i NEVER had an opportunity to hang out with someone i like. the most interaction i ever had with guy i liked was having a small conversation for 5 minutes with them.
but my friend practically jumped on me when we got to choose partners and he asked and i sadly had to say i already had a partner:(
my friend is pretty sensitive so not being her partner would make her upset. ughhhh whatever the thing si do for my friends :|

Your question does not go with the information that you listed. It would only make sense if you turned the guy down to play with your friend. If you friend is that sensitive, perhaps you need to invest in others. It seems "needy" to me. It is a game. I would play with the guy because he asked & because you want to. Done deal!

I could ramble on for years and probably make this the biggest answer in history... but i don't have the time and by then this post would be gone... Yeah you missed an opportunity... you should at least talk to the guy or expect him to talk to you if this opportunity was worth missing, and if you never see him again (which I highly doubt) then you must not be looking very hard.

Talk to your frien nicely..,

say to her that this oppurtunity might not have any second chance..,

cause you and your friend can also play together another day..

do that if you really want to play with that guy..,
