Boy calls me beautiful but he's really calling me ugly? How to respond back to that?

So this boy who likes to be rude and tease girls came up to me and my friends and he directed himself towards me and said, "Hey there beautiful." He winked and stuff. I rolled my eyes and made a disgusted face then he left and started giggling a little. Boys at my school like to use the opposite than what they really mean. So he was really calling me ugly.

Next time he says that to me, i want to say something but I don't know.

Should I say something back? If so, can you give me examples.

Don't get into it too much because it's not worth the energy, but try saying the same thing back to him, even with the wink. Like, "Right back atcha, 'beautiful." Make sure you do it very sarcastically, though, and then act indifferent and walk away without looking at him or responding ever again. I'm sure it'll drive him crazy.
