I fancied this boy(let's call him Kile for now) and i read this book about being more confident with yourself and how you could show a boy how much you liked them and stuff like that. It started working like he would keep looking at me then smiling. You know stuff like that, and we got along (Well we would anyway because we were friends) and he said he liked me more than the other girls. I was really pleased until my friend(let's call her megan for now) had got the idea and she tried it. She was much better than me, and even though he still says he likes me, i kinda lost heart. They went out and "megan"stopped talking to me and would give me evils. I just shrugged it off, but then she sent me a note in class saying" I know you like (kile) and if you try and take him you're dead". I wasn't scared, I just hated the fact that she was my friend and took my nearly boyfriend. Eventually he dumped her and she cried her eyes out. All my friends had a go at me for not comforting her and saying " she doesn't deserve attention from me. She's a back-stabber". We still not talking and i don't know if i should try again with "Kile". He still likes me, ut i lost heart should i try again??

Kile sounds like a typical boy, unable to make up his mind. If you like him, you should try going out with him again. Only time will tell.

Well the girlmate chose a guy over her friend so dont let her make you feel bad for what she initially did. And to be honest don't be the girl who goes back to the guy, wait it out for a bit see if you do really like him. As for your "friend" speak to her see how she is...but make it clear that she chose him first and that compromised your friendship not you liking him.
