just be confident!!! thats all there is too it, i know that its easier said than done but even if you just pretend to be confident the first day you will attract good people. and be yourself, dont pretend to be someone you not! dont stress about it seriously, it will be a lot less scary than you think!! good luck!

Junior high really isn't too bad. School-wise, the material gets a little harder but nothing you can't handle. You should know that most people probably feel the same way you do; if you act outgoing then people will like you; you will make friends. Talk with people a little older than you, so you know good tips and people ur age might like that about you. Make yourself known. For me, I stayed quiet and conservative from the first day; i realize i could have enjoyed high school more if i was more outgoing. Make lots of acquaintances, if not friends exactly. You should join facebook or some kind of networking thing for your school, so u can meet friends online or outside of school ahead of time so its not as scary. In the summer, you should study a little bit for your courses so during the year you can be more sociable and study less than you have to. First impressions are everything; you should be fine.

Junior high isn't that big of a deal. Really it isn't. It's the same as it was before. Don't be scared you will do fine. And on the friends thing, just talk to people, get to know them. Im sure you're a great person and people will want to get to know you. And don't forget you're not the only one who's scared. I know i was.

When I started J.H (I call it Middle School) I was REALLY nervous. I went to a school that all the students pretty much went to that Middle School so I wasn't that scared of making friends since all my friends from last year were there.

I wanted to make a fresh start though, so I was friendly to all the people who talked to me on the first day. Honestly it's not scary, it's a lot like middle school. :) GOOD LUCK

Seriously, junior high isn't scary. It's like elementary school, just bigger. Everyone's super nice, upper graders aren't scary, friends are easy to make (it's just like elementary), and teachers usually have mixers and stuff to help you get to know people. It would be a good idea to be familiar with the school before you go there, so visit during the summer or something.

Try not to worry about it, even though it's hard to. I guarantee that you'll be fine. I remember being scared too, but everything turned out alright.



If I'm correct, you're scared of the unknown. You don't know where your classes are, who your friends will be, who you're going to each lunch with, who your teachers will be, are the classes hard.... the list goes on and on.



You'll be comfortable within the first hour of the first day of school. It's just like elementary school, but better. You'll know lots of people and meet lots of people. Most of them will be worrying about the same things as you, so it will be easy to relate to them and make friends. Please trust me... you'll be fine!

Be nice but not phony basically be yourself! JH isn't that bad just keep a smile on your face, and your head high. Middle school was when I figured out who i was and what i wanted to become! I wanted to stop all sorts of bad things make a lot of money and donate most of it. I wanted to work for greenpeace, and peta! I do all of that stuff now so middle school is how you figure out what you wanna do!

Fear nothing! I know that's easy to say but people (like dogs) can smell fear. The most attractive thing in the world is confidence. With enough confidence you can run this world! junior high is a very important time in your school days....if you were a loser in elementary school, junior high is your only chance to change that...trust me...if you are lame in junior high you are going to be lame in high school...and making friends is easy...just look around and try to find people that u think like the same stuff you do..dont be scared...its really fun!!
