Is my crush a player or started liking me? :o? (i'll answer your's too, post the link)?

Question

I like this guy(We went to same school for 3yrs. I didnt talk to him bcoz im shy but then started talking to him from the last 2months of his 3years stay here), we chat everyday for 5hrs on msn from march. He went to toronto(in canada) in may for 2yrs, his parents are there(his native place). We met here the day before he went back to canada. Had lunch and talked random stuff for about an hour. Once, while chatting on msn, he said indirectly that he likes me and finally i told him i like him. But then he said he considers me as a friend. So i asked why he said he liked me before. He just said sorry to hurt me. I asked him if he could try it to see if he likes me, he said he'd try sincerely.

Last week he went to quebec city(in canada only) to visit his friends. So we couldnt chat for a week, as his friend with whom he's staying has no internet connection. My crush has internet on his mobile, but he was very busy so he just sent me an offline message twice asking how i am and if i was studying well. Today is his birthday. I actually wanted to wish him first but thought it was not possible because he cant come online. Yesterday at 10pm, i was on fb, and he was online too and sent me a msg on fb chat to sign in on msn so we can chat. He said he missed me so much because we didnt chat for a week and hence came online to chat with me and was on, via mobile. I said it'd be difficult for him to chat with me through mobile because typing would be hard. So he said:" Yeah its a little difficult but i want you to wish me first on my birthday, thats why we'll chat till 12 midnight and after you wish me, i'll go to sleep" Then i asked why? He said because im lucky for him.

What do you think friends? Did he start liking me? Do guys do this for a girl whom he likes or considers only as a friend? Today afternoon while chatting, he said that he'd be coming here during 2nd week of august and stay here for 15days. He's actually coming to take school certificates, for that 2-3days are enough. I asked what you'll do so many days here, he said he'll have fun and also meet me! Should i meet him? Is he meeting me because im his friend or wants to know me more? Need your suggestions please regarding that birthday thingy and meeting me(hanging out)? Thanks<3

If I were you and I liked him, I would keep the relationship going, but until he makes a commitment or ask for something serious, I would keep dating other people. Things may change with him down the road, he may get serious or he may meet someone else and forget all about you. Hard to tell. you should meet him, that will tell you a lot.

I think he definitely likes you .... The whole birthday thing makes it more obvious!!

As for the hangin out part, i'd say go meet em & have fun ..I do think he wants to know u more & everything but try not to show the fact that ur interested ..just act as if u guys r just friends .. If he wanna be more than that, (which im sure he does) , he will tell u or give some kind of hint ..

Its possible that he is starting to like you, but thats also very likely because you asked him to see if he really did. So, he just might beause he is actually doin it. And he's meeting you cuase your his friend. I mean, it could be both.
