What does it mean when a guy friend sings songs when we are on the phone?

In other words. I have a friend who I talk a lot with. Once in a while he tells me he wants me to listen to a song he wrote and just sings a romantic song, but of coarse he doesn't write. He also just sings songs when he is talking to me. Is he just happy or is he singing them to me or what. Today he sang Adoro by alejandro sanz. Beautiful song.

not sure. when i had met my boyfriend, chad, and his best friend, jack, i was closer to his best friend, jack, before i was with chad. at that time i was emotionally unstable(depression issues) and jack once sang me "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine". he meant it in a friend way and totally cheered me up. at that time it put tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I have now been with my boyfriend chad for 3+ years and to this day, everytime i think of that song and when jack sang it to me, i get butterflies and i tear up. its never in a romantic way, but the strength of our friendship means a lot to me.

..uhm, i can relate to ur situation...well, i have this close guy friend that sings when we talk..SOme of his songs are kinda romantic..but he's asking me if the song is good or not...I dont really know if he likes me(romantically) or not..but I guess he just trusts my ideas...



But then, maybe he likes you, who knows? :)

maybe he just likes to sing music and thinks that you will like to hear him singing or maybe it's his way of showing you that he likes you but doesn't know any other way of showing you than to do it that way.
