WHAT DO I DO TO SURVIVE MIDDLE SCHOOL!?!?

im kinda a loner now in 8th grade. all my old groups of friends ignored me and used me. everyone says find a new group of friends and be yourself. but i've been in the same school for 3 years and there isn't suddenly going to be a new group of friendly people to join. i've only been in 8th grade for 1 week and can't wait until its over what do i do??

ohkay, what you may want to do is start talking to more people. how about the people who sit next to you in a few classes? strike up a conversation with them. COMPLIMENT THEM! compliments go such a long way! keep talking to them, and then maybe ask to hang out with them sometime, especially if you share a common interest (excitement to see a new movie, a certain store, favorite resteraunt, etc.) meet some of their friends and maybe you can become friends with them.

if not, talk to the people next to you in a bunch of different classes. then you'll have friends, but they wont be in the same group. but hey, who said you need to be in a certain group.

Trust me. Just being friendly is the key, and wait until high school. When I went through high school, there were floods of people lining up to be each others friends. :)



Kids are immature in middle school, so you have to be the funnest and carefree person ever. They'll flock to you

middle school is hard trust me. its just so much imature drama. you really do need to be yourself though. you are almost in high school and trus me it gets alot better. but for now just look for people that has multiple classes with you and maybe strike up a conversation with them about homework or the teachers. be confident. good luck :)

don't worry in high school it will all change trust me ! im a freshman in high school and its awsome. nobody really cares about whos dating who,they just mind their own buisness. Also wait intull highschool,there are like 3000 people to choose from that you can be friends with!

you need to be yourself like you said it's going to be hard but you need to find at least one friend

maybe if there's someone new who is also alone just start talking to them and become friend

you will get through it but you need to fix it now because your almost going to high school and that's going to be much tougher since it's high school so middle school should be way easier

Well, if you see someone that you think would be a good friend you should at least go up to them and say hey! I know it is hard, but once you say hello to someone it will usually work out form there!
