Should I apologize to my friend?

My friend is from France and the other night we were texting each other and he starts going on and on about how American men have small penises and how French guys are so big. My brother grabbed my phone and starts texting horrible French jokes to him and saying French are gutless cowards. He hasn't talked to me' in two days. Should I apologize? I'm pretty sure he thinks I said those things.

Depending on how you think he would react, either tell him the truth about you brother snatching your phone or have your brother call him. Your brother had no right to do that to you and this French boy deserves to know the truth.

Text him and tell him you didn't say those things. That was rude of your brother, and your friend should at least be told what happened. I would apologize, if it was me, for what my brother was saying.
