Question:
How do I join a new group of friends?

Now I asked this question a little while ago, but nobody really got it and I don't think I gave great details so here are the improved details:

I've moved to a new place every three years or so since I was born. Problem is, I was either very little or in an international school, so making new friends was never a problem. However, when I moved to my new school, I jumped into a new group who ended up being quite annoying. Now, I'm in a sport, so i know a few people outside of my group, none of them together in the same group. Now I have one group in mind i'm interested in joining, but I only know one person and I don't know them too well, but well enough to hang out with them when they're away from their other friends. I am quite shy and I don't know how to mix in with that group, because just going in and joining them seems awkward. Please help.

Well it probably does seem awkward try getting to know the other members of the group or talk to your friend about it and hangout with a couple of the group members at one time, so it's only three or four of you. Or just take the plunge and hangout with them. You'll feel more comfortable soon.

Try and get them to talk about themselves. Ask some questions so you can get to know them and what interests them.

Most people like to tell thier story.

See how you go.
