Should I wish him a Happy Birthday?

This guy that goes to my schools birthday is today and we follow each other on twitter and I see him in the hall all the time but we've never talked because he's kinda new, and I want to wish him a happy birthday, but would that seem weird? I feel like since we've never talked tweeting him or posting on his fb wall would just be kinda weird...

When you think about it, it's just a simple and friendly gesture. Even though you've never talked, it would be the nice thing to do, and who knows? It could make his day! Also, birthdays only come once a year. You won't have the chance for another 365 days :)

Why not? If he's new it will make him feel good. Don't care about if people will think it is weird... every one says happy birthday to one another.
